BUILDING YOUR YACHT

Marcello has a great knowledge of the yacht construction process and will advise the owner on every aspect from the preliminary design phase up to the delivery of the finished yacht. Marcello is an independent consultant, not tied to any brokerage house or shipyard. As owner’s representative, Marcello represents only the buyer. Marcello liaises between the broker, the shipyard and the owner to insure that the process runs smoothly and that the finished yacht fulfils all the owner’s expectations.
In assisting the owner in the management of building a new yacht, Marcello can be involved in all or some of the following:

• Selection of the yacht designer that best suit the yacht owner’s expectation
• Coordinating the design process from concept up to final design
• Coordinating the specification outline
• Shipyard tendering and evaluation the suitability, quality and stability of the selected shipyard
• Contract negotiation and support of the client’s legal team
• Project supervision with regular reporting to the client
• Quality control of all aspects of the build process
• Stage payment review and approval on behalf of the client
• Classification and Flag state compliancy
• Dock and sea trials
• Warranty lists
• Delivery of the yacht to the client
• Post-delivery assistance
